School-Based Youth Program Shape Up Across Oregon is offered free of charge to elementary and middle school students due to the 2008 sponsorship from the following organizations: Fred Meyer Fund Oregon Dairy Council Cascade Health Community Oregon Department of Human Services Samaritan Health Services Tuality Healthcare Salem Hospital Governor's Council on Physical Fitness & Sports Oregon Department of Education Students sign up to participate in Shape Up Across Oregon with the school coordinator, generally a PE teacher or classroom teacher. Those students, who complete the imaginary journey within the month of April, will receive a certificate of completion signed by the governor as well as become eligible to receive a variety of prizes.
